Hi everyone, a few updates from our November meeting. We held a dual in-person / Zoom meeting to accommodate members that prefer to join remotely.
Since many of our events have been cancelled this year, our chapter is in need of funds to keep our mission of helping those in need in our community. As an effort to help, we are running a raffle for a 70″ LG HDTV! If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please send an email to info@wayneunico.org or call Joe at 201-961-2193 to get your tickets. The drawing will be on Sunday, December 6th, and the cost per ticket is $20. Please consider supporting a great cause, and at the same time, enter for a chance to win a great TV!
Thank you to everyone that attended our Annual Car Show! On a beautiful Sunday in September at the Wayne Municipal Building parking lot, we had over 200 cars attend, as well as Jersey Johnny’s Grill and a number of vendors attend. Look for information for next year’s show, which will be in September 2021.
At Wayne UNICO, we have ran clothing collection drives several times a year, but this year due to the recipient organizations unwillingness to take collections, we had to put that on hold. We hope to hold another event for members to drop off clothes and we can deliver to a local organization.
